Firstly thankyou for sparing time to read my profile.
Finally decided to take things in my own hands before my parents created an idealistic version of me which as appealing as it may sound may not hold true for me.
I have been a metro girl born and raised in the beautiful fast paced dream city of Mumbai. I have spent a large part of my life in south mumbai where i studied at Walsingham House School at Nepean Sea road. Love that part of the city with a clear view of the sea from practicaly every point. I miss it though but now am based in central city which is good too.
Pursued my M.A. In arts from the University of Mumbai and also did my PGDBM from Wigan and Leigh college. Entrepreneurs, start ups fascinate me, from early childhood was inspired by Aditya vikram Birla and many more such business icons hence decided to pursue my family run business of textiles where we exported across europe. To gain better knowledge did a textile and retail major from SASMIRA institute. Did this business for six years till the markets having slumped took the exit route and started my first venture. I???m a passionate foodie and what started as a small chocolate venture saw light in the form of Dellicious Treats where i turn my passion for good food to bake, create desserts, entrees and much more.
I have largely been self employed and find the corporate routine mundane with no flexibility, hence always looking for something new to start on my own. Challenges at work and discussions with people on varied subjects offering new insight are also my idea of a fun day.
A variety of things interest me from learning the esoteric to the most mundane. Have learnt tarot, numerology, reiki, Bach flowers to watching good films, romantic and thrillers top the charts. Cinema offers a relief and almost magically transports you to a dream world where i guess i could stay forever till I???m brought back on earth by my sister in law. Crazy eh!
Reading being my current favorite i read inspirational, spiritual books to Shiva trilogy to great business ideas. A recommended book by friends makes a must read. Thanks to my brother I enjoy watching sports as well, cricket and football being our favorite. I enjoy meeting new people and sometimes the conversations are so intriguing you have spent half a day talking and you realize you need to get some work done. Well a people's person but still enjoy my time alone. Spirituality drives me and love spending time by myself a space of aloneness and happy to be here. Fitness is a must so i dedicatedly work out, Gym time is a must. My cousin calls me a cleanliness freak, well she thinks she lacks this so i get bestowed with the title but i guess not all habits are bad! Technology puzzles me but learning everyday. I enjoy life, may be go dancing with my girls have fun. Adjectives describing me most are classy, family oriented, self employed, hardworking, committed, hyper, lazy, homebody, not the overzealous over bubbly types but certainly love to laugh.
I am a highly family oriented individual love spending quality time with family and respect them and being the homebody that I am would like to do something creative of my own instead of taking up a job outside. Family is always first priority and looking forward to an individual who I can be comfortable speaking too, spending quality time with and living life in all its glory.

About My family-
I hail from a business family( that???s where all the business madness comes from:-)) My father has been into textiles with manufacturing of handkerchiefs and scarves with Apsara being our largest brand. Now he has retired. My mom is a homemaker and both my parents hail from Delhi with most of our extended family settled up north although we have been based in Mumbai for over forty years now. I have two elder brothers. We are eleven years apart that makes them more like a father figure for me. My elder brother is married and has two teenage daughters. My bhabhi is a professional tarot reader and healer. My brother an interior designer has his own design studio called Auspacieous which houses international furniture and he designs some of the most beautiful homes. My nieces are my world love them the most, teach them in my spare time. My second brother is a software engineer from Cornell and resides in Boston and his wife is a homemaker. Love my folks and love spending time with them. I am a highly family oriented individual so I certainly would not like to take up a job or work full time but spend my time doing creative things.
